Ministry of Justice suspends YCD registration for a month
The organizing
committee of the civil association "Young Christian Democrats"
received a letter from the Ministry of Justice, according to which
the process of its registration with the state was suspended for a
month.
The ministry demands that the YCD present documents
which aren't required by the law. The organization does not intend to
pass such documents to the state organs and believes that they are
necessary only for the fabrication of reasons for the registration
denial.
Bear in mind that the constituent assembly of the
"Young Christian Democrats" took place in Minsk on 3
November 2012.
"The constituent assembly and the signing
of the YCD documents by the founders was shot on video. These video
shots will be doubtlessly demonstrated at court in case the
organization is denied registration," stated the head of the
organizing committee Maryna Khomich.
