"The better is possible" – a new human rights video created by Salihorsk activists
Salihorsk "Young Front" activists shot a human rights
video with the assistance of the Czech human rights organization
"People in Need" and the independent website saligorsk.org

The 16-minute film tells about four successful cases of
rights protection by citizens of Salihorsk. The main heroes of the
documentary are the local civil activists Leanid Markhotka,
IvanShyla, Aliaksei Valabuyeu and Mikalai Zimin.
The authors
of the film hope their work will bring some practical results:
"Each
of the characters of our film presents one of the main factors of
success through his own successful story. As a result a message is
conveyed, which we expect to inspire others to protect their rights
and interests," says a "Young Front" activist Ryhor
Astapenya.
The video was put
on the web for free viewing.
