"Zmena" activist Pavel Vinahradau detained again. Trial appointed on 17 December

On 12 December the activist of "Zmena"
(the youth wing of "Tell the Truth" civil initiative) was
summonsed to the Maskouski District criminal-executive inspection of
Minsk, where he is registered for preventive supervision and has to
regularly pay visits there to get registered.
At the
inspection he was detained and guarded to the Pershamaiski District
Police Department of Minsk, where a report under Article 23.34 of the
Code of Administrative Offenses (violation of the order of organizing
and holding mass events) was drawn up.
After this, the
activist was guarded to the Pershamaiski District Court of Minsk. The
court appointed the trial on 17 December and released Pavel until
that time.
Vinahradau's wife Sviatlana thinks that the
detention of husban can be connected with another "toy picket"
– this time it was organized on the Human Rights Day, 10 December,
near the National Library.
