Zmitser Dashkevich placed in solitary confinement
A political prisoner had a meeting with his lawyer in a prison in Hrodna.
Dashkevich's fiancée, Anastasia Palazhanka, says the Young Front leader has no complaints about his 10-day transfer. He is kept alone in a cell, Radio Racja reports.
“He says he doesn't have radio in the cell, but he can have it if he wants. Inmates in the supermax prison are allowed to receive one 2-kg parcel per year. He can eat only prison meal. It is allowed to buy something in the prison shop: inmates file applications for particular products at a sum of 100,000 Belarusian rubles.
Zmitser Dashkevich was detained ahead of the protest rally of December 19, 2010, and sentenced to two years in prison for a fight, which was orchestrated by the secret services. He stood three trials in Minsk, Hlybokaye, and Mozyr.
