According to Leanid Haravy, activist of the For Freedom opposition movement, his letter to political prisoner Mikalai Statkevich did not reach the penal colony. The activist received a postcard saying that the “letter did not pass censorship”, instead.
Leanid Haravy says he has sent letters to many political prisoners, including Zmitser Dashkevich and Mikalai Autukhovich, who received them without any problems.
This is not the first letter blocked by the administration of the penal colony where Mikalai Statkevich is held.
