Two-year preventive supervision established over Siarhei Kavalenka

The former political prisoner was called to police on 8 October. There Kavalenka was informed and he is put on a preventive list before the conviction expires.

At the police station Siarhei Kavalenka was questioned about his contacts and wondered whether he had any tattoos, the former political prisoner said.

Siarhei Kavalenka was pardoned at the end of September. The political prisoner served the term in the Mahiliou penal colony. Siarhei Kavalenka was sentenced for 2 years and one month of imprisonment for violating the conditions of the freedom limitation punishment. The previous sentence he received for putting a white-red-white flag on the Christmas tree in Vitsebsk in 2010.
