Independent observer Halina Yarashevich registered
a rapid growth of the number of the electors who decided to vote at home at
precinct #24 in Baranavichy-Eastern election constituency #6. On the election
day, 23 September, this number increased from the initial 47 people to as many
as 362.
As a result of such a great number of home-voters the turnout at the polling
station increased to 54%.
On 24 September Halina Yarashevich applied to the procuracy, asking to hold a
check-up concerning the possible forcing to vote at home. She asks to give a
legal assessment to the discovered facts and take measures of prosecutorial
reaction towards violators of the electoral legislation.
