Nina Shubina, head of Vitsebsk-based polling station election commission No. 52, has not allowed observers having their working place in the room occupied by the polling station. The observers were forced to occupy a table in the adjoining room, instead.
“The observers can see from where they are only a corner of one of the ballot boxes. They cannot see the ballots being issued, as well as all the other actions by the election commission members,” says observer Pavel Levinau.
