Report of Observation Results: Early Voting
200 short-term and 95 long-term observers of the “Human Rights Defenders for Free Elections” campaign carry out everyday monitoring of the early voting at 150 polling stations all over Belarus – in Minsk, regional and rayon centers, as well as smaller towns.
Reports from polling stations are processed on a daily basis. The reports are representational (observation covers 2.3% of 6, 349 polling stations in the country) and allow to assess the general trends of the early voting.

The goal of the “Human Rights Defenders for Free Elections” campaign is to observe the election to the Chamber of Representatives of the National Assembly of Belarus in 2012, to assess the electoral process and its compliance with the Belarusian electoral legislation and the international standards of free and fair elections, as well as to inform the Belarusian public and the international community about the observation results.
