Minsk Kastrychnitski District Court has fined Aliaksei Tsioply, activist of the European Belarus movement, BYR 500,000 on disorderly conduct charges.
The verdict was pronounced by Judge Hermanovich, who also found Aliaksei Tsioply guilty of smoking in a public place.
The activist was detained at Minsk central railway station last evening.
