Human rights defender Aliaksei Lapitski
The authorities of the town of Zhodzina have banned a picket in support of Ales Bialiatski and other political prisoners scheduled for 4 August.
Local pro-democratic activist Aliaksei Lapitski says the ban refers to Art. 6 of the Mass Events Code, as it could not be held without securing police and medical maintenance of the picket.
