The journalist's 10-day term of detention in KGB prison has ended today, on July 23. However, the investigation has been prolonged.

The term of the investigation is unknown.

Anton Surapin is suspected of assisting a group of people to cross the border of the Republic of Belarus. According to the Belarusian  legislation, he will be either charged or released today.

Surapin was one of the first people to have published photos of Ivyanets teddy bears. KGB detained Minsk realtor Syarhei Basharymau for the same reason. He has been jailed since the evening of July 6.

Journalists and lawyers of the Belarusian Association of Journalists gathered near KGB at 4 p.m. on Monday. Anton's parents have not come from Slutsk today. Everyone is waiting for Anton's lawyer who has been urgently summoned by the investigator.
