The judgement was delivered against Leanid Mazhalski, a deputy head of the housing society and active member of the initiative group against infill construction in Uruchcha city district.
He was tried in connection with the events on July 4 and 5 in a small park, where works to construct blocks of flats for riot policemen began, Radio Svaboda reports.
As charter97.org already reported, Leanid Mazhalski was detained on July 6 for taking part in protests against infill construction in Uruchcha district. The man was trying to hinder construction workers to set up a construction site.
Three administrative reports were drawn up against Mazhalski for organizing an unsanctioned meeting, impeding workers and disobeying police.
