Brest Regional Court ordered to deny initiating a civil case as requested by the Belarusian independent trade union of the Radio-Electronic Industry.
According to local trade union leader Uladzimir Malei, the complaint was lodged after four members of the trade union were not included in the region’s election commissions.
The appeal was reportedly dismissed since it was lodged by the trade union’s deputy head, who does not have the power to sign and confirm such statements.
The decision will be appealed at the Supreme Court, says Uladzimir Malei.
