Baranavichy: only “Fair Wolrd” and UCP nominate members to constituency election commissions
Only four opposition members filed applications for
being included into election commissions in Baranavichy – three representatives
of the Belarusian Leftist Party “Fair World” and one representative of the
United Civil Party.
A member of the “Fair World” Viktar Tsiapin filed an application for being
included into Baranavichy-Eastern election constituency #6, Eduard Karapetau –
into Baranavichy-Western election constituency #5 and Maryia Lankina – into Baranavichy Village election constituency #7. All
three members of the “Fair World” were nominated at the party's plenum on 1
July. UCP member Anzhalika Kambalava was nominated to the Baranavichy-Western
election constituency #5 by collection of electors' signatures in support of her
candidacy.
Local activists of social-democratic parties, the Belarusian Popular Front, the
Belarusian Christian Democracy and the Movement “For Freedom” didn't nominate
their representatives to constituency election commissions.
