Opposition to nominate one pretender at Pruzhanskaya constituency #9 and three – at Ivatsevichskaya constituency #11.
The head of the Biaroza district branch of the United
Civil Party Aliaksandr Kabanau intends to run for the Parliament at the Pruzhany
electoral constituency #9. A member of the Belarusian Social Democratic Party “Hramada”
and the civil campaign “Tell the Truth!” Valiantsin Lazarenkau and a member of
the United Civil Party Viktoryia Hryniuk will run at Ivatsevichy electoral
constituency #11. A member of the Belarusian Popular Front Yury Hubarevich may run there as well, though he hasn’t made up his mind yet.
It’s worth nothing the different approaches of the possible candidates. The UCP
representatives Aliaksandr Kabanau and Viktoryia Hryniuk decided to take part
in the election in order to tell the electors that they needn’t go to the electoral
precincts as nobody pays any attention to their choice anymore, whereas
Valiantsin Lazarau decided that he would run till the end, as one cannot stand
aside the political life.
