Yulia Vinakhodava, activist of the Young Front opposition movement, is facing expulsion from Vitsebsk State College of Technology for taking part in a picket of solidarity with imprisoned activist Siarhei Kavalenka outside the city’s pre-trial prison, www.charter97.org reports.
According to the activist’s mother, she was invited for a conversation with the college administration and asked to prevent her daughter from political activities.
Yulia Vinakhodava has been previously harassed by the KGB, who threatened with expulsion from college.
