According to unofficial information, Mikalai Autukhovich was transferred to Hrodna prison

It was stated by the former lawyer of political prisoner Mikalai Autukhovich, Pavel Sapelka. “There is no official information about it, but I was informed that he is kept in prison #1 in Hrodna,” said Mr. Sapelka.

Bear in mind that on 17 January 2012 Mr. Autukhovich was tried for alleged violation of the prison regime and was found a malignant violator. As a result, the court changed the restraint to Autukhovich from penal colony to cell-type imprisonment for the remnant of his sentence, 27 months.

In May 2010 Mikalai Autukhovich had been sentenced to 62 months in prison for alleged illegal trafficking and keeping of five fire-cartridges to a hunting rifle. Human rights consider him a prisoner of conscience, referring to gross process violations during the trial and his active civil position.
