Arche magazine warned by Information Ministry

The latest issue of the Arche magazine (No. 10, 2011) violated Article 22 of the Mass Media Code, the press-service of the Belarusian Association of Journalists reports, quoting official Mrs. Tatsiana Bondar.
The independent journalists reportedly misspelled the name of the Ministry of Information. Apart from that, Arche’s date and number of registration are said to be incorrect. As a result of the alleged violations, the magazine’s editorial board received an official warning by Minister of Information Mrs. Liliya Ananich.
Par. 2.2 Art. 51 of the Mass Media Code provides for closing down of a periodical in case two and more violations have been received by its editorial board within a year.
