Former presidential candidate Andrei Sannikau has been secretly transferred to a different penal colony, the Nasha Niva newspaper reports, quoting the prisoner’s lawyer Andrei Varvashevich.
Mr. Varvashevich was expected to have a meeting with Andrei Sannikau. However, upon arrival at the colony in Babruisk, the lawyer was told that the politician had left the prison. However, it is yet unknown to which colony he has been transferred.
