Civil activists Palina and Pavel Kuryianovichs were
mailed copies of the violation reports which had been drawn up in their
absence. According to these documents, they are charged under Article 23.34
(violation of the rules of conduct of mass events) on 26 October.
This day civil activists stood with portraits of political prisoners in metro
carriages and near the building of the central railway station in Minsk.
Yuliya Stsiapanava was fined 1,050,000 rubles, Volha Bandarenka was sentenced
to 10 days of arrest and Mikhail Yermaliuk – to 5 days.
However, Palina and Pavel have no relation to this action. They will be tried
at the Kastrychnitski District Court of Minsk at 2.30 p.m. on 18 November.
