A People's Assembly was held in Orsha on 8 October.
Orsha residents adopted a number of demands to the local authorities, including
the improvement of the quality of drinking water in Orsha and its district.
As it follows from the answer of the Orsha City Executive Committee, the
station for clearing drinking water from iron was constructed in the village of Babanichy in the Orsha district in 2006.
However, there is no such village – neither in the Orsha district, nor in the
adjacent Talachyn, Sianno and Dubrouna districts.
The document was prepared by two lawyers of the executive committee and signed
by its Chairman, M.Saksonau.
