On 25 October, Mahiliou police interrogated local leader of the United Civil Party of Belarus Uladzimir Shantsau.
The interrogation reportedly dealt with the activist’s involvement in the organization of the People’s Assembly on 8 October.
Mr. Shantsau says the police are trying to prosecute the organizers and participants of the People’s Assembly.
