Babruisk activists of the United Civil Party of Belarus Halina Smirnova and Viktar Buzinayeu have lodged complaints with local prosecutor’s office, appealing detentions before and during the People’s Assembly.
“The compliant explains that the People’s Assembly was held under legal requirements. I am urging the prosecutor’s office to examine the policemen’s actions, who detained us and argued that we violated the Mass Events Code”, says Viktar Buzinayeu.
