Brest Regional Court has dismissed a complaint lodged by deputy chair of Brest office of the Belarusian Leftist Party “Fair World” Liavontsi Chypurnykh against an earlier verdict by Brest Maskouski District Court.
The activist was detained while distributing leaflets advertizing the People’s Assembly on 4 October and was later sentenced to 5 days of administrative arrest for alleged violation of mass events procedures.
