Baranavichy authorities ban one more picket

Baranavichy civil activist Ryhor Hryk has not been allowed to stage a picket “For a Life without Lies”, despite his compliance with every formality while submitting the application.

The official ban signed by deputy chair of the city executive committee Dzmitry Kastsiukevich says the picket’s objective – protest against price rise and deterioration of living standards – is not true to fact.

“This is a fifth ungrounded picket ban straight,” says the activist.

Ryhor Hryk is going to appeal the ban in court and local prosecuting authorities.
