On 12 October the administrative commission of the Leninski
district of Hrodna ruled to fine the activists of the “Young Front” Ales Kirkevich
and Veranika Velihor 350,000 rubles each.
The activists had been detained in the night of 17 September, while posting
leaflets about the silent protest action appointed on 12 September. Following
the detention, the police also confiscated Kirkevich’s laptop, searched Velihor’s
apartment and confiscated the system unit of her computer.
