On September 27, representatives of NGO from different countries, which take part in the OSCE Human Dimension Implementation Meeting in Warsaw, organized a picket to support Ales Bialiatski.
Nearly 50 persons took part in the picket opposite Sofitel Hotel and then walked to the University of Warsaw in Krakowskie Przedmieście.
Picketers wore t-shirts with a portrait of Bialiatski and carried posters “Freedom for Political Prisoners”. They handed round leaflets with information about the Belarusian human rights activist and offered to sign a card for him. They chanted “Freedom for Bialiatski”, “Freedom for Belarus”, “Shame on dictators” in Belarusian, Polish, English, Kazakh and Russian.
