On 25 September, Mrs. Souhayr Belhassen, President of the International Federation for Human Rights, congratulated FIDH Vice-President Ales Bialaitski on his 49th birthday on behalf of all FIDH members.
“We are doing our best to meet you in the nearest future and mark your release together”, says Mrs. Belhassen in her birthday greeting letter.
To consolidate the campaigns of solidarity with Viasna leader, FIDH has launched a three-language web-site www.freeales.fidh.net, which is expected to feature regular updates on Ales Bialiatski’s case.
