Criminal harassment of Natallia Radzina stopped

It was informed to the parents of "Charter'97" editor by the city administration of internal affairs of Minsk city executive committee via mail.

The document is dated August 23. It reached Kobryn only yesterday. Natallia Radzina responded to the news about ceasing of criminal persecution under the "mass disturbances" article late at night by a publication at her web-site. The journalist calls this step of the authorities "trade with the West on political prisoners" and makes it clear that she is not going to return to Belarus in the near future. According to Radzina, if they stopped harassment under one article that doesn't mean they will not harass her under any others.

Let us remind you, it became known yesterday that a criminal case against the UCP leader Anatol Lyabedzka had also been stopped.
