Siarhei Karpenka, reporter of the Belsat independent TV channel, was acquitted by Lida court on 22 August, European Radio for Belarus reports.
The journalist was charged with disorderly conduct and resisting arrest. However, he managed to find a video coverage of his arrest, which impacted the verdict.
