Astravets district executive committee has banned a picket of protest against the construction of a nuclear power plant in the town, Radio Racyja reports.
“Despite the ban, we are not going to stop informing people about the danger nuclear energy may bring”, says local civil activist Ivan Kruk.
According to Mr. Kruk, the ban on the picket that was scheduled for 25 August was not substantiated by any grounds.
