Mahiliou Kastrychnitski District Court has started hearing the lawsuit entered by former chair of local election commission Mrs. Iryna Ziamtsova, following an alleged case of label by two observers Mrs. Larysa Shukaila and Liudmila Kavylkina, the BelaPAN news agency reports.
The incident was earlier considered by the same court, when the observers argued that the election commission chair was drunk on the voting day, 19 December 2010. However, the court dismissed the claim and Mrs. Ziamtsova entered a civil lawsuit, demanding compensation for alleged libel.
