Baranavichy civil activist Ryhor Hryk
Baranavichy activist of the United Civil Party Ryhor Hryk will not be able to hold a picket on 30 July, after local authorities dismissed his application.
According to Baranavichy executive officials, in his application, Mr. Hryk violated mass events procedures. However, the official reply fails to mention which provisions were broken by the activist.
Mr. Hryk says the ban is illegal and therefore he is going to appeal the decision at local prosecutor’s office.
