Aliaksandr Kuushynau was detained on Pryvakzalnaya Square during the silent
protest action of 3 July. His mother, Tatsiana Kuushynava, went to the
Maskouski District Police Department in order to find about the fate of her
son. However, she wasn't allowed to enter the DPD.
The police lieutenant Yaromenka considered it as “unlawful penetration of the
building of the Maskouski DPD of Minsk” and charged her with violation of
Article 23.4 of the Code of Administrative Offenses, “insubordination to lawful
demands of a public agent”.
