On 6 June, Homel activists of the For Free Elections civil campaign engaged in election observation during the 2010 presidential election received a reply from Homel Regional Prosecutor’s Office.
The observers’ earlier report on alleged election violations was dismissed by Homel Tsentralny District prosecutor’s Office. The Regional Prosecutor’s Office admits the check-up on the reported election fraud was not exhaustive and ordered to carry out another prosecuting inspection.
