Border guards on the Polish-Belarusian border have annulled a visa of the chairman of the board of Radio Racyja Yauheny Vapa.

Belarusian border guards refused to explain this measure and said he should contact the Embassy of Belarus in Poland for explanations.

“This is connected with the situation in independent media. It is this that causes such a reaction. I do not see any other reasons for banning from entry to Belarus and for annulling a business visa I obtained on an invitation of the Association of Belarusian of the World “Batskaushchyna”. I was going to Minsk to, among other tasks, buy books that are needed here, in Bialystok, and CDs. It’s a pity that the spiritual motherland treats the Belarusians living abroad in such a way,” Yauheny Vapa commented on the incident.
