Judge Znaha Zhukouskaya of Minsk Frunzenski District Court pronounced verdicts to seven persons involved in the 19 December 2010 post-election events.
Former presidential candidates Uladzimir Niakliayeu and Vital Rymasheuski were sentenced to 2 years of suspended sentence each. Activists of Niakliayeu’s campaign team Aliaksandr Fiaduta, Siarhei Vazniak and Andrei Dzmitryeu were sentenced to 2 years of suspended sentence each. Nasta Palazhanka, activist of Vital Rymasheuski’s campaign team, has been sentenced to 1 year of suspended sentence.
