Ivan Shyla, deputy leader of the Young Front youth opposition movement, has lodged a complaint with the Interior Minister and Minsk police chief against detention conditions at the city’s detention center at Akrestsin Street.
The activist mentions numerous regulations that keep being ignored by the center’s administration, including sanitary conditions and health care.
During his recent detention at the prison on between 23 March and 4 April, Ivan Shyla suffered allergy problems. However, he was denied medical treatment.
