Anarchist Mikalaj Dziadok claims there was pressure from investigators

Activists of the anarchist movement Maxim Vetkin and Yauhen Selivonchyk admit guilt partly. Alinevich, Dziadok and Frantskevich plead not guity.

Mikalaj Dziadok has stated in court that the investigators put pressure on him. He has said that when he was in custody, KGB officers talked to him in the room for interrogations, without the lawyer and unrecorded. 

 

They threatened Dziadok with long terms of imprisonment, more brutal confinement conditions and other troubles. They did it with an aim to get a confession from him.


Dziadok has also noted that many people were detained upon his case. They were forced to speak false information of him, BelaPAN informs. 


The trial against 5 anarchists started in the Zavodzki district court of Minsk on May 18. They are accused of a non-sanctioned anti-military action near the Ministry of Defense's building in Minsk (in 2009). They also allegedly fired the Russian Embassy in the center of Minsk, as well as the center for isolation of law-breakers in Akrestsina Street, with "Molotov cocktail" (in 2010). The anarchists are also accused of attacks on other buildings - "Shangri-La" casino and the office of the Trade Unions Federation.   


Apart from this, Aliaksandr Frantskevich is additionally accused of hacking the web-site of Navapolatsk city executive committee.

 

They face up to 12 years of imprisonment.
