Journalist Andrzej Poczobut, facing charges for insult and libel of President Lukashenka, has lodged a motion for dismissal of the criminal case due to lack of corpus delicti, says the reporter’s lawyer Aliaksandr Birylau.
Simultaneously, a similar motion was submitted by the lawyer himself. Apart from that, Mr. Poczobut demands to provide attendance of the alleged victim (President Lukashenka), in case the case reaches court.
Andrzej Poczobut has been in custody in Hronda prison since 6 April.
