Grim record: 27 participants of 19 December post-election rally are being tried
On 11 May the Zavadski
District Court of Minsk started trying the criminal case under Article 342, “organization
and preparation of actions that grossly violate the public order, or active
participation in such actions”, brought against Iryna Khalip, Siarhei Martsaleu
and Pavel Seviarynets.
The Leninski District Court of Minsk started trying the criminal case under
Article 293, “mass riot”, against Dzmitry Bulanau, Artsiom Hrybkou, Aliaksandr
Klaskouski, Aliaksandr Kviatkevich, Andrei Pazniak, Mikalai Statkevich and
Dzmitry Uss.
Moreover, the Frunzenski District Court of Minsk continues trying the criminal
case under Article 342 against Andrei Dzmitryieu, Aliaksandr Fiaduta, Uladzimir
Niakliayeu, Anastasiya Palazhanka, Vital Rymasheuski and Siarhei Vazniak. The
Partyzanski District Court of Minsk continues the trial of the criminal case
under Article 293 against Aleh Hnedchyk, Fiodar Mirzayanau, Andrei Sanikau,
Illia Vasilevich and Uladzimir Yaromenka, and the Maskouski District Court – the
criminal case under Article 293 against Dzmitry Daronin, Aleh Fedarkevich, Siarhei
Kazakou, Uladzimir Loban, Vital Matskevich and Yauhen Sakret.
Thus, 27 participants of the post-election protest action held in Minsk on 19 December 2010
are being tried.
