Alyaksandr Klaskouski, a former policeman, was visited by his wife in prison.

During the meeting with his wife Natallya, prisoner Alyaksandr Klaskouski confirmed the things Ales Mikhalevich said about the KGB remand prison (“Amerikanka”). The conversation of the prisoner took place during their meeting in the KGB jail, Radio Svaboda informs. Natallya Klaskouskaya said:

“He confirmed the words of Mikhalevich. He said: “Natallya, the things Mikhalevich said are completely true.” He also informed that a representative of the prosecutor’s office visited him and asked whether he had complaints. Sasha (Alyaksandr) appraised that in the following way: “It is ridiculous. If I have said I have complaints, I would not have a possibility to sit with you here.” He probably meant that every part of his body would be so bruised and battered he would not be able to sit.

He also said that he had certainly committed wrongs to us, and that he faces the longest term of imprisonment. He has even asked the investigator why the term is so long. “Participation is ok. I agree with this accusation. And what about organizing [the mass riots]? I am far from being an organizer. As he said, the investigator had nothing to answer to that.”

Besides participation in mass riots, Alyaksandr Klaskouski is charged with other offences. The former policeman had a police uniform on under his jacket, which was the reason to accuse him of fraudulent imposition. During the arrest on December 21 Alyaksandr Klaskouski was brutally beaten up by riot policemen. His relatives suppose it was revenge to him as a former policeman.
