“Activities on behalf of a political party, public association, religious organization or foundation, that has failed to undergo a state registration procedure, violate the legislation of the Republic of Belarus”, repeatedly state official replies by Prosecutor General to Viasna’s leader Ales Bialiatski.
However, Prosecutor Vasilevich has ignored Bialiatski’s claims on the illegality of Viasna’s dissolution, admitted by the UN.
The latest reply is another evidence to the fact: “The official warning issued to you was legal”, says Mr. Vasilevich, dismissing Ales Bialiatski’s demand to revoke the punitive decision.
