Human rights defender Vital Amialkovich received a reply by Minsk City Prosecutor’s Office, admitting violations of legal procedures during a search at his apartment in early January 2011.
“On 5 January, I was shown a copy of the search warrant. Besides, the search record failed to mention two persons who had taken part in the raid”, says Vital Amialkovich.
The official reply also claims that the law enforcement officials who carried out the search have been notified of the inadmissibility of similar violations in future.
