Barys Haretski, journalist of the Radio Racyja, was detained today in Minsk Partyzanski District Court, where the trial of Mikita Likhavid is taking place. The reporter was taken to the KGB central office and interrogated.
According to Barys Haretski, he was forced to sign warning of possible prosecution for participation in the forthcoming 25 March rally.
Barys Haretski says he was surprised at the KGB’s preventive activities against journalists ahead of the 25 March Freedom Day celebrations.
