The appeal against the verdict to Vasil Parfinakou is going to be considered by Minsk City Court on 25 March.
Vasil Parfiankou, activists of Uladzimir Niakliayeu’s campaign team, was detained on 4 January as a suspect in the 19 December 2010 mass riot criminal case. On 17 February 2011 he was sentenced to 4 years of imprisonment in a high-security colony.
