Iryna Pankavets remains “chronically unemployed”
Iryna Pankavets. mother of the editor of the politics
department of the socio-political weekly Nasha Niva Dzmitry Pankavets,
cannot find a job for three months already. She was fired from the position of
a cook at the Starabarysau secondary school after serving ten-day arrest for
participation in the 19 December action of protest against the rigged election.
Iryna Pankavets lives in the village of Liubatoushchyna in the Barysau district
of the Minsk region. It means that most probably she will have to work in
another settlement, and her working hours must end not later than 5 p.m. so
that she could get home. After the dismissal from job Iryna registered at the
Barysau employment center. However, no suitable job offers have come so far.
That's why she also wrote to ask an independent website ex-press.by for help.
The website published her CV. Iryna Pankavets is still waiting for a job.
