Civil Society Forum cannot find premises for its conference

The National platform of the Civil Society Forum of
the Eastern Partnership cannot find a place for holding its conference “Role
and Place of Civil Society in Strategy of Future”.
The conference was to have taken place on 19-20 March in the International
Educational Center (IBB) in Minsk. However, one of the founders of the center,
the Minsk City Executive Committee, didn't agree to provide premises for the
event. The administration of the Crowne Plaza hotel also refused to lend
its hall for some formal reasons.
The organizing committee of the conference considers these decisions as
purposeful hindrance of the Belarusian authorities to activities of the
National Platform of the Eastern Partnership Civil Society Forum.
