Maskouski District Court: Breus and Gaponov
10.10 a.m. – the trial
over the Russian citizens Artyom Breus and Ivan Gaponov starts. The prosecutor
reads the list of victims who had allegedly fallen victims to their actions: Bulavatski, Bozkha, Davydovich,
Filipenka, Karavayeu, Kashtalan, Komar, Kudrautsou, Lavitski, Masalski, Palavinkin,
Sapach, Skarakhod, Volkau and Ziankevich. According to the prosecutor, Brest and Gaponov
allegedly kicked the policemen.
The charges remain the same, Article 293, part 2 of the Criminal Code. Having
questioned the victims, Judge Liubou Simakhina granted the motions for attaching
testimonies of the victims and materials of the expertise to the case.
The lawyers solicits for changing the restraint, but the judge doesn't grant
the motion and announces a break in the trial till 10 March to provide
the accused and their defense with the opportunity to familiarize with the new
circumstances of the accusation.
